Another race in paradise, the Riviera Nayarit OWS

0

The Riviera Nayarit Open Water Swim will be the last stop for the GSS in Mexico this season before the GSS Global Championships in Cancun in May. The beautiful warm, crystal clear waters and gorgeous beach make this swim the jewel of the Mexican Pacific. The action takes place in beautiful Riviera Nayarit in Puerto Vallarta.

The swim started in 2010 and over that time has grown to over 700 swimmers. There are 3 different distances (1.25km, 3.75km & 5km) catering to swimmers of all ages and abilities. The course for all the distances involves the same 1.25km loop. The venue is inside the beautiful Bahia de Banderas, in the Marina Riviera Nayarit a la Cruz. Situated amongst some of Mexico’s most beautiful hotels and only 20 minutes from the airport, this race makes for a perfect destination race for travelers. We should expect to see a fair amount of international swimmers being represented over the weekend.
