Bring on the Bay
The largest swim in Ontario, Canada and one of the founding races of the Global Swim Series.
A big event on the open water calendar in Canada since its inaugural race in 2007. Bring on the Bay was also one of the founding races in the Global Swim Series. In 2015 over 650 swimmers participated and the numbers keep growing each year. A beautiful swim in the calm and usually mild waters around Canada’s capital, the course itself is a point-to-point swim starting at the Nepean Sailing Club and ending at the Britannia Yacht Club swimming the whole way past dozens of anchored yachts. Extremely well-organized and supported throughout with over 20 anchored sailboats and buoys that mark the scenic course. There is even a Team Challenge and a Swim Angel program for challenged athletes. With great medals for all finishers, an awards party to follow with plenty of food and prizes, this is an event not to be missed this July.
