This GSS Swim Trip coincides with the historic El Cruce race which serves as the GSS Global Championships where 1500 swimmers take part each year.
Coached by 2008 open water Olympian Luis Escobar, this trip will provide swimmers with top level coaching, stroke tips and the training necessary to not only make sure they have a great race but can apply what they've learned to their swimming in the future as well.

We will be staying out of this beautiful beachside hotel that will offer you a great stay and convenience for the Swim Trip. While it's not mandatory you stay at the host hotel, it's always more fun to stay with the group!

About the Coach
Luis EscobarSwim Trip Coach
In 2008 Luis represented Mexico at the Beijing Olympics in the 10km Open Water Swimming Marathon Event. He has swam at FINA World Championships as well as numerous FINA World Cup races. A great pool swimmer, including being the first Mexican swimmer to go under 15 minutes for 1500 free, he was also one of the best open water swimmers in the world from 2002-2009.
Luis has a wide breadth of coaching experience, including "Canadian Age Group Coach of the Year" and now as the Head Coach of the top Masters team in Canada. He has a knack for helping swimmers of all abilities improve and challenging them to do their best, all with a big smile on his face.
So if you're looking for an amazing trip where you can improve your abilities and challenge yourself all while having plenty of fun and laughs along the way then Luis is the coach for you!
