Aboutthe swim

The Angelsea Rock2Ramp is an open water swim held at the family friendly Point Roadknight Beach, in Anglesea, just a short drive from Melbourne, Australia.

The race has been held every year since 1994 and attracts an incredible 900 swimmers! The town of Anglesea only has a population of 2200 people, so it is safe to say that people come from far and wide to swim this race!

Although the Rock2Ramp course is in a protected bay with nice sandy beaches and conditions are usually very pleasant, it is still an ocean swim and there are still challenging swells and currents.

The Anglesea Surf Life Saving Club provides a high level of water safety per capita compared to other swims in the area, consisting of “Rubber Duckies”, Surf Skis and Rescue Boards in the water, all manned by competent Surf Lifesavers together with a medical center on land.
